Background

Started in 1987 by Brian Hamblin and known originally as Towers International DSR, Brian brought his prior experience and expertise to the business, having previously designed a range of self-supporting towers and guyed masts up to 150 metres in height, for floodlighting, telecommunication and navigational aids.

In 2007, the business became known as Tower Analysis & Design.

In 2018 Brian was joined by Andrew Sisley-Smith, with his knowledge of Structural Engineering and Construction Technology.

Combining their skills and experience has enabled Brian to take on an overseeing and consultancy role, whilst Andrew has taken over the day to day running of the business and its activities.

As Consulting Structural Engineers, principal activities include: checking the design of existing self-supporting towers and guyed masts for mobile phone networks 3G 4G and 5G, radio transmission operators, point to point transmission operators, SCADA and other telecommunication operators; strengthening designs and load reduction recommendations for structures found to be overstressed; the assessment of sites for the installation of towers and masts.
